GENERAL SHOP POLICY

We will always go out of our way to say hello to you and welcome you to shop with us. We want everyone to be able to enjoy not just our friendly customer service, but also the physical environment in which to shop. Many who have visited us are always amazed at our displays and how they didn't have to "straddle" a row of bolts to get what they needed. They also love that everything is neat, clean and organized.

We do ask the following courtesies in our Shoppe:

No Food Or Drink
No Soliciting
No Photography

WEB EXCLUSIVE & SPECIALS POLICY

For all on-line pricing, items must be ordered via the website and will need 24-48 hours to process.

Savings offers may not be combined. Savings offers exclude clearance items, prior purchases, pre-orders/special orders, workshops and gift cards.

Items in the Sale Fabrics category are available through the internet only.

KIT POLICY
If you are purchasing a kit, Hollyhill Quilt Shoppe & Mercantile will make every effort to ensure that the original fabric shown in the “Shoppe” sample is included, however we reserve the right to make substitutions as necessary.

We have an in-store sample made for each kit we sell. This is to check for pattern accuracy. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PATTERN ERRORS, although if we find one we will include the correction with the kit. Our kits include ample fabric to create the project as shown, pattern or book, and will occasionally include additional embellishments such as buttons, ric-rac etc. If we do not include any of these items it will always be indicated for you to purchase separately.

ALL SALES FINAL POLICY

We will not accept returns on cut yardage, books, patterns, gifts & home decor and quilt kits. If you are having a problem with piecing a quilt from a kit, please give us a call at 503-607-0600. If we are not able to assist you immediately, we will take your name and number and call you back after we have researched the pattern. Please be aware that we are not responsible for pattern errors and make every effort to catch errors by having an in-store sample made from each of our kits.

GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

It is the customers responsibility to read the policy and decide if they wish to make a purchase from Hollyhill Quilt Shoppe Mercantile. We ship United States Postal Service Flat Rate Priority for both US and International orders. The "Shipping" generated on your order is an "estimate" only based on dollar total only. If the items exceed the size of a priority envelope, your order will be adjusted to a box.

*Flat Rate Envelopes generally up to 6yds of cotton fabric (SAFELY) or up to 4 yards of flannel fabric depending on the cuts. (Example: 1 yard cuts fold differently than a 5 yard cut). Anything over 6yds of cotton and over 4yds of flannel will be shipped in a Flat Rate Box and your shipping will be adjusted.

*Flat Rate Boxes will generally hold 12 to 20 yards depending on cotton versus flannel and the size of the cuts.

Additional charges may apply if your order exceeds weight and size limitations of the Flat Rate Priority Mail Envelope or Flat Rate Boxes.

*Media Mail Rate US ONLY (between $2.53 and $3.45) is available for book orders only. If you are ordering just a pattern, we can send it via regular postal mail ($1.80-$1.90) but we assume no responsibility for lost items in the mail. Shipping for these items will be adjusted so please ignore the estimate generated by the website.

*Shipping occurs Tuesday through Saturday. We are regularly closed Sunday & Monday. We may temporarily delay shipping during certain holidays. Hollyhill Quilt Shoppe & Mercantile will ship your order within 24-48 hours of receiving your order.

We are not responsible for lost or damaged items items that may and can occur in shipping.

US Shipping Policy

*We have a shipping rate of $5.50 uninsured for US orders under $50.00. The order must fit into a flat rate envelope provided by the United States Post Office. If it does not fit into the flat rate envelope, your shipment will be packaged into a flat rate box and the shipping charge will be adjusted.

*Orders under $50.00 are not insured unless requested. Orders of $50.00 or more will be insured and charged to the customer. Please be aware that we are not responsible for lost items in the mail.

Special Instuctions & How To Place An Order:

*If you indicate "Send What You Have" and there is not enough quantity left on the bolt we will send the yardage left on the bolt to you.

*If you select "Cancel Short Items", any item that is short is canceled from your order.

*If you have other requests, please indicate that in the comment section before checking out. Example: "Please call me if you are out of stock on item #..."

Pick Up For Local Customers
If you would like to pick up your order at Hollyhill Quilt Shoppe & Mercantile, obviously the shipping charge will be waived. All orders that are being picked up at the “Shoppe” must be prepaid. We will not cut fabrics without valid credit card information. Select In-Store Pick-Up to have your order held at the Shoppe. All orders need 24-48hrs processing time from the NEXT BUSINESS DAY. Keep in mind we are closed on Sunday & Monday so orders placed during these two days will not be ready for pick up until Wednesday after we have returned.

UPDATE OF PRODUCTS ON OUR WEBSITE

Because we are an actual store, sometimes items are sold off faster than we can update the website. Our website is updated every 2-3days. Patterns and books are not removed from the website until we know for sure we will not be restocking that item. It is for this reason that we strongly suggest you include special instruction if you need to be called. Please note: We do not contact you regarding fabric availability on sale fabric specials.
